We are doing this to grow our investments, and at the same time realize fantastic ideas that have been kept in the dark all these while due to lack of resources. It is our vision and our greatest interest to build a conglomerate of businesses reaching out to the global market.

4. How much capital does "G49 BOSS" invest?

As we are looking into inventing new age entrepreneur and startups, we are keen to invest amounts up to RM100,000.00, depending on the stage of the opportunity and the company's need for capital. We will also provide access to funding consultants who will be able to secure additional funds of up to RM150,000, making the total of up to RM250,000 to start your business.

5. How does "G49 BOSS" make money?

We are a business entity. We make our money by partnering with your team and yourself in the business. We put up with the risk and we provide the necessary field experts to guide you with the hope that the business will grow, and together we will profit from it. We make our money, when you make your money.

6. Do we have to repay for the investment made by "G49 BOSS"?

Not at all. Investments made by G49 BOSS are NOT in the form of a loan. We make our investment decisions very carefully to avert high risk investments. However, we accept the fact that risk exists in every investment, and that is the exact reason why we require your team and yourself to undergo coaching under a controlled environment to enhance the chances of success.

7. What commitments can I expect from "G49 BOSS"?

G49 will mobilize team of field experts such as legal company secretaries, legal advisors, financial consultants, funding consultants, and many more, who are dedicated to make our investment and your business a success. G49 will also provide access to business people from diverse business models to share experiences with the team. G49 demonstrates a commitment to equal opportunity at every level of the company, including the coaching and support to every entrepreneur.

8. What are your commitments towards "G49 BOSS"?

As we do not micro-manage, we expect your team and yourself to be fully engaged and dedicated to the business, and to have active and full participation in completing the project as per commitment. At the same time, we expect you to invest in acquiring knowledge and the skills necessary from the field experts that we will be mobilizing to facilitate the growth and success of the business.

9. Is my idea safe with "G49 BOSS"?

Definitely. As we will have a vested interest in your business, we will protect the idea unquestionably.

10. Will "G49 BOSS" own shares or equity or be entitled to any business profit-sharing from my idea?

Yes. We will own equity and also be entitled to business profit-sharing from your idea, and we believe that this is the only way to secure a business partnership. We believe that when all parties involved have a vested interest, they will go a great distance to ensure the business' success.

11. What happens if my initial idea has been selected and funds have been disbursed to me but I fail to complete the implementation deliverables (i.e. Business Plan and/or Milestones) and wish to withdraw from "G49 BOSS" during the implementation process? Am I obliged to return the whole amount disbursed to me?

You will NOT be required to return the funds disbursed to you if you fail to implement the deliverables. However, the eligibility to the following tranche will be reviewed on a case to case basis, and disbursement of the following tranche will be subject to the board's approval.

12. What is the maximum investment that will be funded?

A maximum of RM 100,000 will be invested to a single project.

13. Could I get additional funding if the original amount disbursed to me does not fully cover my implementation cost?

Under normal circumstances, we will not invest more than RM 100,000 into any business, but we don't deny the possibility of making any exemption for very exceptional cases.

14. Does "G49 BOSS" co-invest with other venture firms?

Yes, we welcome the opportunity to co-invest along with outstanding venture or strategic partners. But our main focus and priority is in its own members themselves. This will allow unlimited opportunities for young and new investors who all this while were not given such opportunity by existing financial and venture firms.

15. How involved is "G49 BOSS" with its portfolio companies?

We do not believe in micro-managing the portfolio companies. However, we believe that our active involvement will help to create value, so we will look into working with management teams to maximize the impact of our investment and their technology or innovation. Special training on entrepreneur skills will be imparted onto these individuals. This way the success rate of our investment will gain many folds.

16. Is "G49 BOSS" simply a strategic vehicle to make future acquisitions easier?

No, it isn't. Acquisitions by Trainers Asia of portfolio companies are possible, but this is not the goal or focus of our investment activities. Our focus is building great companies and generating long term financial return for every party.

17. Will you require your portfolio companies to use "G49 BOSS" products?

No. We will, of course, provide whatever support necessary to help our portfolio companies grow, but this support won't necessarily involve any strategic placement of G49 BOSS products or parallel commercial agreements. Again, we certainly think there is a lot to be gained by doing so. That is, a ready market for every portfolio.

18. What are the benefits and advantages of participating in "G49 BOSS"?

If your idea is picked, your team and you will be entitled to a startup capital of RM100,000. At the same time, you will have access to a pool of field experts such as company secretaries, legal advisors, funding consultants, financial consultants and many more. You will also be given training and coaching to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to handle our investments. Last but not least, you will have access to the exclusive BOND club, where you can pitch your ideas for further capital investments, or you can choose to be an investor yourself.

19. What happens if my initial idea has been selected and funds have been disbursed to me but I fail to complete the implementation of the deliverables? Am I still entitled to receive the following tranche? Am I obliged to return the whole amount disbursed to me?

20. Do we have to pay our mentor any fees?

No, you do not have to pay for mentoring from G49 BOSS. However, a fee will be applicable to mobilize field experts such as company secretaries, legal advisors, financial consultants, funding consultants and other experts.

21. Do I have to quit my job to participate in "G49 BOSS"?

Of course not. It is entirely your choice to either stay employed or to be engaged in a full-time basis with the entity started by your team and yourself. However, if you are selected to be part of the managing team, a basic salary will be provided to you.

22. If I have an existing business with existing investors, can I participate in "G49 BOSS"?

Yes. You can participate as an individual but not as a business entity. We only invest in new start ups.

23. Who owns the IP of my ideas?

The IP of your ideas will remain with the business entity that is managed by your team and yourself. At any point of time, even at maturity stage, if you feel that you would like to own the idea by yourself, we are open to the option of offering the ownership back to you.

24. Are there too many shareholders?

With varied experiences in the world of business, we understand that one of the main obstacles in starting a business is the lack of resources and networks to bring the company to a stable platform. Therefore, we believe that a large team would greatly assist a company to expand its networks, thus achieving explosive growth in a short period of time. We believe that the team synergy, with every participant having an interest, will spur growth by many folds.

25. If I am a student and currently unemployed, do I qualify?

Yes, you do if you are willing to undertake the commitments mentioned above.

26. When do I get the funds paid to me?

The funds will be paid in two (2) tranches to you. Upon the selection of your idea and business entity formed, the 1st tranche of RM50,000 will be disbursed into the business entity's bank account. Upon receiving the 1st stage of deliverables, the 2nd tranche of RM50,000 will be transferred to the business entity's bank account. At the same time, the funding consultants will begin securing additional funding of up to RM150,000 for the business entity, which is expected to flow in upon the 5th or 6th month. Additional funding, however, is subject to approval.
