Senior Consultant

Mr. Chew Toh Tseng holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Hull, UK ( 1995), a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from The University of Singapore( 1976), a Graduate Diploma in Marketing ( SIM), a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing ( U.K. ), and a Diploma in Management Accounting and Finance from the National Productivity Board.

He has more than 27 years of working experience in the regional pharmaceutical/ healthcare sales and marketing field, holding positions progressively from junior to senior management levels for both the distributors and suppliers' regional offices in Singapore. (I.e. both the conventional and the vertical marketing system)

Mr. Chew was stationed in Malaysia in 1990 for a year. In 1994, he was posted to Hong Kong by a Swiss Biotech-Pharmaceutical multinational corporation to start-up sales and marketing operations in China/ Hong Kong. He returned to Singapore in 1996 as the General Manager for South-East Asia operations.

He then left the Swiss Pharma company in April 2004 to be a professional lecturer for seven Institutions. Mr. Chew has been lecturing on a part-time basis with several Institutions for the past eight years, focusing on Sales and Marketing modules for diploma, degree and MBA programs.

Mr. Chew also conducts in-house seminars / workshops and open seminars in China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The focus of the seminars / workshops include Strategic Selling Skills, Negotiate Like A Pros, Exceptional Customer Service, Key Account Management, Fundamentals of Marketing, Marketing Plan and Strategies of Winning the Marketing War.

Besides lecturing and training, Mr. Chew also find time to be the Consultant of two companies in Singapore. He is the appointed lecturer of "Ethics" for the Certified Medical Representatives Training Course for the Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (SAPI).

During Mr. Chew's tenure of service as the Chairman of the Regulatory Committee of SAPI( Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries) from 1997 to 1998, the regulatory committee won a Meritorious Award on Excellence in Public Suggestion, from the Service Improvement Unit, Political Supervisory Committee, Singapore in September 1998.

In summary, Mr. Chew is a versatile trainer, lecturer and consultant experienced in the areas of General Management, Marketing, Negotiation and Exceptional Customer Services.
